SCHOOLS AT THE PULITZER: ST. MICHAEL & SHAW
Schools at the Pulitzer: St. Michael & Shaw Tuesday, May 22, 2007 6pm - 8pm Join us for the culmination of two programs with St. Michael School and Shaw Visual and Performing Arts School. Both programs provided an opportunity for elementary age students to experience the Pulitzer building and exhibitions. Visits allowed the students to become familiar with the works of art on view. Through various exercises, they were encouraged to create expressions based on their personal experiences. These works of art will be on view at the Bruno David Gallery, across the street from the Pulitzer. In addition, will be a poetry reading by some of the students and an "homage" to Cindy Sherman's history portraits. Concurrently, the Pulitzer's galleries will be open throughout the event and a reception will be held in the courtyard.
